Always sterilise your cup before using it and after the end of your period. To sterilise your cup you'll just need to put it in a small pot with water, bring the water to boil and boil it for 5 minutes. When you are not using the cup, keep it inside its case. Remember to always wash your hands when you are inserting or extracting your cup.

To help you understand how to wear Ziggy, here is how it is:

1) Place the back rim next to your palm and, with your thumb and finger, squeeze it to create a 8-shape.

2) Find a comfortable position to insert it and relax your pelvic muscles (it could be sitting on the toilet or crouching down).

3) Insert first the back rim and push it with your finger to the bottom of your vaginal canal (pushing slightly down) until you realise you got to the pelvic bone (the harder zone you'll find).

4) With your finger, tuck the front rim of your cup behind you pelvic bone, in order to make it stand still. 

5) When it's time to remove Ziggy, hook your finger behind the front rim of your cup and gently pull it out, being careful about keeping it horizontally in order to avoid spillage.
